  • As a small, family-run restaurant, providing our full attention to our guests is our top priority. For this reason, we do not provide a phone number. To get in touch, please email us at info@cheznoircarmel.com or DM us on Instagram @cheznoircarmel.

  • Yes, we accept reservations one month out. Each month’s reservations are released on the 1st of the preceding month. For instance all November reservations will be released on the 1st of October.

  • Yes, we require a $25/person deposit on Tock that will be applied to the final bill. If you need to cancel your reservation, we ask that you please do so at least 24 hours in advance to receive a refund for your $25/person deposit.

    NEW POLICY IN EFFECT APRIL 1st 2024.

    No deposit will be taken at time of booking.

    A $150 per person no-show fee will be applied to parties who cancel less than 48 hours before their reservation. This policy applies to reductions in party size.

    Cancellations may be done via the “Cancel Reservation” button in your reservation confirmation email. If we can be of any assistance, please reach out to us at info@cheznoircarmel.com.

  • Yes we do accept walk-ins. The best times are 5pm and after 8:30, especially midweek.

  • Yes, there is street parking, and after 5 pm parking is available at the post office parking lot which is next to Chez Noir.

  • At this time we are only open for dinner.

  • For parties of up to six guests, we accept online reservations via Tock.

    Currently, we do not have space to accommodate parties larger than six. However, if you are interested in inquiring about a private buyout event, please email us at info@cheznoircarmel.com

  • The inclusion of a 20% service charge helps us pay equitable wages, with benefits, to our team. The 20% service charge, will apply to all food and beverage consumed onsite.

  • Yes, we have a heated outdoor patio. You are able to specify whether you would like to sit indoors or outdoors when booking your reservation on Tock. The patio is uncovered and as such reservations are contingent on the weather's cooperation.

  • Yes, we manage a waitlist via Tock. An email notification will be sent to you if a table becomes available for your indicated party size and date.

  • Yes, we will do our best to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions with advanced notice. We are not well-suited to accomodate vegan diets. Please view our menu to see our current offerings. Please add any allergies or dietary restrictions in the notes section when booking your reservation on Tock. If you have any further questions, feel free to email us at info@cheznoircarmel.com.

  • $45 per standard 750ml bottle with a maximum of two bottles per table.

  • We are a family-run restaurant and we love children. Please note that we do not offer a children’s menu or have highchairs on site. If you are going to bring your child, we ask that you book them in as guests in your party.

  • Yes, service animals are allowed and welcomed, and small, well-behaved pets are also welcomed on our outdoor patio. We otherwise request that you leave your fluffy friends at home as Chez Noir’s outdoor patio is quite small and does not allow much space for pets to lounge comfortably.
